The Area Manager role at Confidential Client is a full-time, on-site leadership position within fulfillment centers or other operations facilities, focused on managing and developing a team of 50-100 hourly associates. What You’ll Do
This entry-level Area Manager role leads frontline operations in a warehouse/fulfillment environment. You will be responsible for motivating, mentoring and managing hourly teams to meet safety, quality, attendance and productivity goals. Typical responsibilities include:
- Support, mentor and motivate 50–100 direct-report associates
- Lead shift operations and maintain standards for safety, quality and attendance
- Drive performance through coaching, corrective action and development plans
- Oversee inbound/outbound processes including truck deliveries, sorting and material handling
- Operate or coordinate use of pallet jacks and powered industrial trucks (PIT) where applicable
- Monitor workflow, resolve issues independently and escalate when necessary
- Fill in on the production floor as needed to meet business requirements
Qualifications
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree completed between May 2024 and August 2026 (degree requirements must be met prior to the first day)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Currently enrolled in or graduated with a degree in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship (no sponsorship available now or in the future)
Preferred
- Internship or practical experience in warehouse, manufacturing, logistics or operations
- Experience leading teams, even in informal or project-based roles
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary (Whitestown, IN): USD 65,200 – 75,000 per year
- Final compensation may include sign-on payments and equity/RSUs where applicable and will be based on experience, qualifications, and location

- Relocation assistance may be offered at the time of offer for eligible candidates
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- This role is site-based in an operations/warehouse setting (not a corporate or remote position)
- Regular standing and walking during shifts up to 12 hours
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and perform frequent push, pull, squat, bend and reach motions
- Climb and descend stairs when applicable
- Work in variable noise levels and support shift schedules that may include nights, weekends and holidays; many sites follow a fixed 4-day workweek with 3 days off
