Role overview
This is an entry-level, full-time Area Manager role supporting operations at a fulfillment or delivery site. You will lead and develop hourly associates, drive safety and quality, and help deliver outstanding customer outcomes. The position is based in Orland, CA and requires on-site work in a fast-paced warehouse/operations environment.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach and develop 50–100 hourly associates to meet safety, quality, attendance and productivity goals
- Motivate teams and drive a high-performing, customer-focused culture
- Operate independently and make decisions in an autonomous environment
- Oversee inbound/outbound truck activity, pallet and package handling, and step in where needed on the production floor
- Safely operate or supervise PIT equipment and pallet jacks where applicable
- Monitor performance metrics, provide feedback, and implement continuous improvement actions
- Regularly stand and walk during shifts up to 12 hours; lift up to 49 pounds and perform frequent bending, reaching, and stair use as needed
- Work varied shift patterns including nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
Minimum (Basic) Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree completed between May 2024 and August 2026 (degree requirements must be met prior to your first day)
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without employer-sponsored immigration assistance (no sponsorship available)
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated leadership, coaching, or team supervision experience (internships and campus leadership considered)
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range for Orland, CA: USD 70,400 – 75,000 per year
- Total compensation may include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs) where applicable; final pay determined by experience, qualifications, and location

Work location & schedule
- Primary work location: Orland, CA (on-site operations/warehouse)
- This role is physically active and requires floor presence; expect standing/walking for full shifts and a 4-day workweek pattern at many sites (shift schedules vary by facility)
