What You'll Do

This is a full-time, entry-level Area Manager role supporting operations inside a fulfillment, sort, or delivery facility for our confidential client. As an Area Manager you will lead, develop, and motivate hourly team members to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals. This role requires hands-on floor leadership and regular interaction with frontline Associates.

• Support, mentor and motivate 50–100 direct-report Associates
• Lead daily operations: prioritize workflow, coach performance, and manage attendance
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity
• Oversee inbound/outbound truck activities and package handling
• Operate or support the use of pallet jacks and powered industrial trucks (PIT) where applicable
• Step in to perform hands-on tasks when needed; work on your feet and walk the production floor
• Work scheduled shifts that may include nights, weekends, and holidays (many sites follow a 4-day on/3-day off pattern)
• Help drive continuous improvement and team engagement

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day floor operations and ensure team targets are met
• Coach, develop, and give feedback to hourly Associates
• Monitor workplace safety and address hazards immediately
• Use data and local metrics to identify improvement opportunities
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (logistics, maintenance, HR) as needed
• Handle physical tasks periodically (lifting up to 49 lbs, bending, climbing stairs where applicable)

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree completed between May 2024 and August 2026 (all degree requirements must be met prior to your first day)
• Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship now or in the future
• Ability to stand and walk for shifts up to 12 hours
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and perform physical activities such as pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching
• Comfortable working in variable noise levels and a fast-paced environment
• Willing to work flexible shift patterns including nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Degree or coursework in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching, or team supervision experience
• Experience with warehouse systems, PIT operation (where applicable), or material handling is helpful

Locations & Compensation

This posting covers multiple locations across Texas. Site placement is matched to candidate location preferences and availability. Relocation benefits may be offered to eligible candidates at time of offer.

Typical base salary range by location (annual):

• Amarillo, TX — $65,200 - $75,000
• Coppell, TX — $65,200 - $75,000
• Dallas, TX — $65,200 - $75,000
• Fort Worth, TX — $65,200 - $75,000
• Lubbock, TX — $65,200 - $75,000
• Pflugerville, TX — $65,200 - $75,000
• San Antonio, TX — $65,200 - $75,000
• San Marcos, TX — $65,200 - $75,000
• Waco, TX — $65,200 - $75,000

Your total compensation may include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and a comprehensive benefits package. Final compensation is determined by experience, qualifications, and work location.
