What You’ll Do
This entry-level Architectural Designer role supports project teams in producing high-quality building design and construction documentation under the guidance of licensed architects and design coordinators. You will contribute to schematic design, documentation, and team coordination while developing technical skills, Revit/BIM proficiency, and professional experience that supports NCARB AXP progress.
- Assist in conceptual design using sketches, physical models, digital models, diagrams, and massing studies.
- Develop and maintain BIM/Revit 3D building models for use in drawing production.
- Prepare and revise drawings across project phases: site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
- Coordinate design intent with structural, MEP, and other consultant disciplines.
- Participate in internal design reviews, client or consultant meetings, and project coordination.
- Support contract administration tasks including submittal reviews and occasional site visits.
- Conduct site analysis and research for materials, precedents, codes, and sustainability strategies.
- Apply sustainable design principles to projects and help implement best practices.
Key Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of accessibility and building code application.
- Foundational understanding of construction systems and document production.
- Ability to develop floor plans, wall sections, and architectural details with attention to accuracy.
- Strong visual communication skills: sketches, diagrams, and graphic presentation.
- Collaborative team mindset with effective verbal and written communication.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Revit (required); experience with Enscape, Lumion, SketchUp, or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Demonstrated time management and quality-control habits to meet project schedules.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
- 0–3 years of professional experience (entry-level).
- NCARB record or pursuit of licensure is preferred; LEED Green Associate or LEED AP is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated pay (as published): $128,823 per year (estimated).

- Some roles may be bonus-eligible. Actual compensation depends on experience, education, and work location.
Work Environment & Schedule
- Hybrid working model — combination of office and remote work to support collaboration and flexibility.
- Typical office environment requires computer-based work and periods of sedentary activity; occasional field work may expose staff to outdoor conditions.
