Role overview

Confidential client is seeking an Architectural Associate (Entry-Level) to support project teams in producing design documents, models, and construction drawings for public and private projects. This is a full-time role based in Springfield, IL with hybrid work options. The position offers structured AXP experience for candidates pursuing NCARB certification.

What You’ll Do

• Visit project sites to review and document existing conditions
• Prepare early schematic presentation models, illustrations, and renderings
• Assist in preparing detailed drawings and construction documents
• Collaborate with BIM/CAD management and project teams to maintain model integrity
• Support project administration tasks such as report writing and basic client communications

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from a NAAB-accredited program (Master’s preferred)
• 0–2 years of professional experience (entry-level applicants encouraged)
• Proficient with Revit (required) and experience with 3D modeling and graphics
• Experience with SketchUp, Photoshop, and Rhino preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
• Desire to pursue AXP/NCARB experience and grow in a collaborative studio environment

Compensation & Benefits

• Illinois pay transparency: $60,000—$74,000 USD (salary range shown)
