Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Architect to join their Architectural Team in New York, NY. This role supports design teams across project types (commercial, rail, transit, aviation, etc.) and helps convert conceptual work into Revit-based construction documents while gaining practical on-site experience.


What You’ll Do

  • Support design teams through all stages of design across multiple project types (commercial, rail, transit, aviation).
  • Translate sketches and design concepts into Revit-based construction documentation.
  • Learn from redlined documents and assist in production workflows to develop focused Revit skills.
  • Create clear 3D BIM content in Revit (or other CAD/BIM formats) suitable for coordination and visualization.
  • Perform site and field work: site investigations, existing facility inventory, and field-measured documentation.
  • Build working knowledge of relevant building codes, materials, and construction methods.

About You (Qualifications & Skills)

  • EXPERIENCE: Internship experience with a professional architectural firm or relevant project experience.
  • EDUCATION: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from a NAAB-accredited program required.
  • TECHNICAL SKILLS: Basic Revit proficiency; familiarity with rendering tools (e.g., Lumion), Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
  • PROFESSIONAL: No current registration required; desire and intent to pursue licensure via NCARB preferred.
  • SOFT SKILLS: Strong collaboration, attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to perform fieldwork as needed.
