What You’ll Do

As an entry-level Architect (Arch 1) you will support project teams in design and technical tasks under the supervision of project leadership. You will contribute to documentation, modeling, and project setup while learning production standards and office workflows.

• Assist in reading and interpreting construction documents and perform field checks on existing buildings
• Produce as-built and existing building background drawings
• Help set up project files to client or office standards
• Support the production of construction documents under direction from the Project Architect
• Assist with design development and technical documentation under the Design Lead
• Participate in programming sessions and prepare programming documents and presentation materials
• Perform basic Revit modeling, pick up redlines (notes, dimensions) and edit family content per standards
• Support Revit project setup and workset/model management
• Communicate effectively with project team members, including engineering disciplines
• Perform related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering
• 0–3 years of related architecture experience (entry-level)
• Intention to begin or progress through the NCARB AXP process
• Ability to follow direction, ask appropriate questions, and work collaboratively on multi-disciplinary teams
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Skills & Tools

• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
• Familiar with Revit family creation, model setup, and workset management
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam Revu
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and SketchUp
• Knowledge of Rhino, Grasshopper, and rendering software is a plus
