Role Overview

Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Architect (Arch 1) to support architectural design and technical documentation for projects based in Dearborn, MI. This is a full-time role for a candidate with 0–3 years of relevant experience who is comfortable working in a collaborative project team and using Revit and related architectural tools.

What You’ll Do

• Support production of construction documents under direction from the Project Architect or Project Manager.
• Read and interpret existing construction documents; assist with field verification of architectural features.
• Help produce as-built drawings and develop architectural backgrounds for project files.
• Assist with programming sessions, preparation of programming documents, and presentation materials.
• Pick up redlines and apply basic Revit edits (notes, dimensions, minor model updates).
• Support Revit project setup, workset management, and family content edits to comply with office standards.
• Collaborate with engineering disciplines and communicate questions or clarifications to the Project Manager or lead architect.
• Perform related duties as assigned to meet project deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
• 0–3 years of related architecture experience (entry-level).
• Demonstrated interest in beginning the NCARB AXP process.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow technical direction.
• Attention to detail and ability to work within project and office standards.

Skills & Tools

• Proficient in Revit (basic modeling and redline edits).
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam Revu.
• Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and SketchUp.
• Knowledge of Rhino, Grasshopper, and rendering software is a plus.

Logistics & Compensation

• Location: Dearborn, MI (on-site or as required by project).
• Employment type: Full-time.
• Estimated pay: $80,631 per year (estimated). Final compensation will be set by the hiring organization and may vary by experience, job location, and other factors.
