Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales and automation engineering teams to translate customer requirements into magnetic tooling and automation solutions.
  • Design magnetic tools, end‑of‑arm tooling, and custom accessories using 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred).
  • Support integration of tooling into robotic production lines — coordinate with robotics, PLC, HMI, and sensor systems.
  • Set up and evaluate FEA simulations (ANSYS preferred) to validate magnet and tooling performance in customer environments.
  • Produce 2D fabrication drawings, dimensional overlays, and detailed Bill of Materials (BOMs) in ERP (NetSuite).
  • Use AI and digital tools (e.g., CoPilot, SharePoint workflows, simulation analysis) to speed design iterations and project delivery.
  • Run hands‑on tests, collect and analyze data, document results, and produce milestone reports.
  • Interface with international teams and support global projects as required.
  • Maintain clear technical documentation and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams and customers.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or similar — or equivalent technical experience.
  • Entry-level: 0–2 years relevant experience (internships, co‑ops, or significant project work welcome). Mid-level: 3+ years relevant applications, mechanical, manufacturing, automation, or customer-facing engineering experience.
  • Advanced SolidWorks (or similar 3D CAD) skills.
  • Practical experience or strong familiarity with robotics, tooling, industrial sensors, PLCs, and control systems.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design fundamentals, GD&T, and FEA methods.
  • Experience with BOM creation and ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
  • Demonstrated documentation, test planning, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication; customer-focused approach and problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience working with international teams or customers is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range (base): $70,000 – $110,000 per year (Colorado good‑faith estimate; actual pay will depend on experience and qualifications).
