What You’ll Do

You will serve as an Application Engineer supporting internal and external customers to improve product performance, customer experience, and engineering execution. You will lead small technical projects, provide application consulting, and help advance product enhancements.

  • Drive improved decision-making and provide executional support across application engineering projects
  • Lead small projects that require technical skills and basic project management
  • Provide product/application technical support via phone, email, and chat; recommend installation and selection solutions
  • Use 2D/3D CAD tools to review and ensure accuracy of models and drawings with product designers
  • Perform root-cause analysis, laboratory testing, and qualification for continuous improvement efforts
  • Propose and help scope follow-up projects and product enhancements based on customer feedback
  • Communicate technical recommendations to cross-functional teams (manufacturing, supply chain, R&D, quality, product management)
  • Create new part numbers and maintain BOMs as needed
  • Occasionally travel (client visits, on-site support or training)

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
  • 0–10 years of engineering, manufacturing, or related technical experience (entry-level to early-career)
  • Proficiency with MS Office and 2D/3D drafting & modeling software
  • Strong analytical skills with emphasis on critical thinking, root cause analysis, and problem-solving
  • Clear technical writing and ability to document reports independently
  • Ability to multi-task, adapt to shifting priorities, and take ownership of deliverables
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills — comfortable presenting to small groups
  • Basic project management knowledge
  • Entrepreneurial mindset; willingness to propose creative solutions and follow-through
  • Lean Yellow Belt preferred

Physical Requirements & Travel

  • Extended periods of sitting and/or standing at a workstation
  • Ability to type, reach, grasp, and perform standard workstation tasks
  • Ability to lift/carry/pull up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to reach, climb, crawl, and walk as needed during on-site support
  • 15–20% travel (including overnight travel as required)
  • Regular attendance and reliable performance are essential
