What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Anti‑Tamper Protective Technology Engineer to support program protection and protective-technology work across systems and components.
- Assist in development and implementation of program protection strategies and protective-technology solutions, including anti‑tamper approaches.
- Perform engineering analyses to identify vulnerabilities, technical risks, potential failure modes, and protection needs.
- Support anti‑tamper and technology protection activities throughout the systems-engineering lifecycle.
- Evaluate microelectronics, secure-design and secure-packaging approaches, and other protective technologies.
- Track and document technical issues; support root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and risk mitigation.
- Maintain risk registers, action-item trackers, and related program documentation.
- Support systems-engineering tasks such as requirements development, system integration, verification/validation, and technical documentation.
- Analyze technical data and coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify failure modes, system risks, and corrective actions.
- Prepare engineering analyses, reports, briefings, and other program artifacts.
- Participate in technical reviews, working groups, and engineering meetings.
Who You Are (Required Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering or related technical field.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience (entry-level to early career).
- Working knowledge of protective-technology concepts (anti‑tamper technologies, secure-design principles, or related areas).
- U.S. Citizenship required; must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance prior to start.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current active Secret clearance.
- Experience with root-cause analysis, corrective action tracking, or maintaining risk registers/action-item trackers.
- Experience supporting systems-engineering activities: requirements, integration, V&V, and technical documentation.
- Background analyzing technical data and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Familiarity with microelectronics evaluation, secure packaging, or related protective-technology lab/inspection methods.
Location & Compensation
- Work location: Huntsville, AL (onsite or program-dependent; see job posting).
- Estimated/posted pay (source listing): $60,583 per year (estimated).
