What You’ll Do
This entry-level role on-site in Tucson, AZ will contribute to antenna, radome, and antenna measurement system development. You will work on engineering teams to move designs from concept through modeling, test, and production.
- Development of antenna or radome hardware and technical requirements
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (thermal, structural, mechanical, systems)
- Liaise with antenna manufacturing suppliers to support fabrication/test needs
- Run antenna modeling and simulation on workstations and HPC resources (HFSS, CST, FEKO, SENTRi, GRASP)
- Interpret simulation and measurement data to verify performance against requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM major completed by start date
- Coursework or hands-on experience with RF and electromagnetic theory
- Proficiency with antenna modeling & simulation tools (HFSS, CST, FEKO, SENTRi, and/or GRASP)
- U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain an interim U.S. government security clearance (DoD Secret) prior to start date
Preferred Qualifications
- Model generation and simulation experience with conformal antennas (or relevant coursework)
- Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or other scientific programming languages
- Familiarity with high-performance computing environments and schedulers (e.g., SLURM)
