Role summary

Confidential Client is seeking a motivated, entry-level Analytics Specialist to join their data analytics team in Adamsville, AL. This role is ideal for early-career data professionals who want hands-on experience with SQL, APIs, reporting and visualization tools while contributing to analytics projects that drive business decisions across a professional services environment.

What You’ll Do

• Use SQL to profile and query system databases for integrations and end-user reporting
• Build and maintain integrations using systems' APIs to automate workflows and data flows
• Design dashboards, reports, and visualizations that make complex data accessible to non-technical stakeholders (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
• Collect, clean, and transform datasets to prepare them for analysis
• Apply statistical and critical-thinking skills to surface trends, anomalies, and actionable insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support internal deliverables and client-facing reports
• Continuously develop knowledge of data manipulation techniques, analytics tools, and emerging technologies

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data/Business Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field
• 1–2 years of professional or relevant academic experience (internships and projects count)
• Solid foundation in data principles, logical problem solving, and attention to detail
• Proficiency in SQL; exposure to a programming language (Python, R, etc.) a plus
• Familiarity with Excel and at least one visualization tool (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
• Exposure to web technologies or database-driven applications (React, HTML, JavaScript, or similar) and familiarity with Azure is beneficial
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings for business audiences
• Curious, collaborative mindset with a passion for learning and career growth
