What You’ll Do
The Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Analytical Laboratory Technician to join an onsite R&D team. This role supports analytical method development, non‑GLP and GLP validations, and routine sample analysis in a collaborative laboratory environment.
- Support sample weighing, preparation, and analysis of active ingredients, intermediates, impurities, formulations, and related materials under supervision.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analytical testing to support research and development activities.
- Assist with non‑GLP and GLP method validation experiments and data collection.
- Learn to operate and maintain analytical instrumentation, including HPLC, GC, LC/MS, and GC/MS.
- Perform routine instrument maintenance and assist with troubleshooting as needed.
- Process analytical data; prepare and maintain accurate laboratory documentation and reports.
- Maintain high standards for data quality, integrity, and compliance with laboratory procedures.
- Collaborate with scientists and teammates to meet project goals and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Follow all EHS and laboratory safety requirements.
Schedule & Work Environment
- Onsite, Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week
- Typical shift: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Local candidates only; onsite interview required
- No travel or driving required
- Medical surveillance: not required
Estimated pay: $63,255 per year (estimated)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
- Previous academic or professional laboratory experience required.
- Foundational knowledge of analytical chemistry and lab best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to learn new analytical techniques and instrumentation.
- Commitment to following laboratory procedures and safety standards.
Preferred Technical Experience
Hands-on experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable:
- HPLC
- GC
- LC/MS or GC/MS
- Karl Fischer titration
- Other analytical chemistry instrumentation and titration techniques
