Position Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an Analyst, Strategic Finance (Office of the CFO) to join a growing SaaS finance team in West Palm Beach, FL. This early-career role offers close mentorship, exposure to senior leaders, and hands-on experience building models, preparing leadership reports, and supporting budgeting and forecasting. The role is full-time and reports to the Office of the CFO.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models for revenue, expenses, headcount and scenario planning.
• Support annual budgeting and recurring forecasting by collecting inputs and keeping financials current.
• Perform month-end variance analysis: compare actuals to plan, explain drivers, and surface trends.
• Track and report SaaS and business metrics (recurring revenue, retention, gross margin, dealer-level performance).
• Prepare clear reports and presentation materials for leadership and improve dashboards for faster insights.
• Contribute analysis for strategic projects such as pricing, new product/market evaluation, vendor/investment decisions, and operational efficiency.
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Operations, People/HR and Commercial teams to answer business questions with data.
• Identify manual steps in finance workflows and help automate or simplify them using spreadsheet tools, BI tools and AI.
• Assist the Human Resources and Commercial teams as needed on finance-related requests.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field (recent graduates encouraged to apply).
• 1–2 years of finance, accounting or analytics experience – internships, co-ops and relevant coursework count.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills (formulas, lookups, pivot tables).
• Solid grasp of core accounting concepts (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow).

Preferred / Helpful Experience

• Internship experience in FP&A, M&A, corporate finance, banking, consulting or technology companies.
• Familiarity with financial modeling coursework or case competitions.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to explain numbers to non-finance partners.
• High attention to detail and the habit of validating your own work.
• Comfortable using AI tools to speed research and analysis.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per year (plus an annual target bonus).
• Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Matching 401(k).
• Compensation and benefits are subject to Confidential Client policies and applicable state law.
