Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports to analyze the performance of new product launches and active collections across all jewelry categories.
  • Perform ad-hoc sales, product, and market analyses to support merchandising and business initiatives.
  • Maintain and update product classifications, master data records, and related product databases.
  • Develop quarterly competitive intelligence presentations highlighting new collections, product launches, pricing, and emerging jewelry trends.
  • Maintain records of competitor pricing, assortments, and promotional activity to inform strategy.

Pricing, Master Data & New Product Forecasting

  • Support the Category Director with comparative pricing analyses for semi-annual pricing reviews, benchmarking Confidential Client products against key competitors.
  • Maintain documentation of pricing updates and historical price changes.
  • Assist with master data setup (MDS) tasks and sales forecast planning for new product launches.

Marketing & Retail Support

  • Collect, organize, and prepare presentations and communications for new product launches and retail initiatives.
  • Review, edit, and proofread catalog price lists, fact sheets, and other product collateral for accuracy and consistency.
  • Support updates to the Jewelry Product Reference Book for semi-annual publications, ensuring new product information is accurately represented.

Product Development & Assortment Recommendations

  • Organize new product information by category, collection, and price point.
  • Create and maintain collection mapping and assortment-planning files.
  • Analyze assortments by collection, product type, price point, and region to identify optimization opportunities and recommend changes that maximize sales and productivity.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product Development & Design, Merchandise Planning, and Marketing teams to support launches, assortment decisions, and retail tools.
  • Communicate analytical findings and recommendations clearly to cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in the jewelry industry, product management, merchandising, or a related analytical role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Graduate Gemologist (GG) or Graduate Diamonds certification from GIA is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills.
  • Solid understanding of luxury jewelry products and the competitive landscape; familiarity with Confidential Client products or comparable luxury brands is an asset.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with sound business acumen.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; effective collaborator across teams.
