Position Overview
Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Materials/Metallurgy Analyst to join a Quality & Process Engineering core laboratory team in Forbes Village, CT. In this onsite role you will perform metallurgical and materials verification testing to validate raw materials and finished parts against blueprints and specifications for aerospace applications.
What You’ll Do
- Perform metallurgical analyses and material evaluations to ensure compliance with aerospace standards and specifications.
- Produce clear, concise, and accurate laboratory reports documenting test results and conclusions.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal customers and engineering teams across levels.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or Engineering with a minor in Metallurgy/Materials Science.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this role due to program/contract access requirements.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Prior metallurgical laboratory experience or familiarity with lab protocols.
- Prior internship, co-op, or work experience with the Confidential Client (or similar aerospace/defense employers).
- Minimum 3.0 GPA (preferred).

- Onsite role — candidates should expect to work primarily at the laboratory facility. As part of the hiring process, select interview steps may be required in person.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range (good-faith estimate): USD 57,200 — USD 108,800 per year.
- Benefits (may vary by business unit): medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending, paid time off, holidays, potential short- and long-term incentive programs, and relocation eligibility where applicable.
