What You’ll Do
This role supports marketing financial planning for artist campaigns and daily financial operations. Responsibilities include:
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting for artist marketing campaigns, updating budgets in the planning system and supporting monthly forecasts.
- Coordinate marketing-related purchase orders with label and finance partners; help resolve discrepancies and support timely vendor payments.
- Reconcile marketing expenses monthly and quarterly; prepare accruals and journal entries and surface potential variances.
- Maintain financial reports and dashboards that show actual spend vs. remaining budgets by artist, project and campaign.
- Track contractual marketing commitments, third-party sponsorships, invoices, and payments.
- Collaborate with marketing, media, promotion and finance teams to gather information and resolve questions.
- Support compliance: ensure proper documentation, approvals and controls; assist with audit requests and process improvements.
- Contribute to special projects such as campaign analyses, vendor comparisons, and label-wide expense reviews.
Who You Are
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with financial data in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field — or equivalent experience.
- Up to two years of experience in accounting, FP&A, corporate finance, or related functions (internship/entry-level experience in music, entertainment or media is a plus).
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and comfortable learning new systems.
- Familiarity with SAP, Power BI, or Tableau is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Clear and professional communicator; able to work across teams and levels.
- Organized, able to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing deadlines.
- Curious, collaborative, takes ownership, and asks for guidance when needed.

Compensation
New York pay range: $61,000 - $66,000 USD (annual base salary). The posted range is provided in compliance with applicable pay transparency laws. Actual salary offered will depend on experience, qualifications, and location.
