What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Analyst to join their Ship Systems Integration and Sustainment (SSIS) support team within Integrated Logistics Services (ILS) Products. This role supports Naval Power programs by developing and maintaining logistics products and configuration data to support fleet readiness.
- Support logistics engineering activities and collaborate with peers and internal customers.
- Review engineering drawings and technical documents to collect maintenance and parts data.
- Research equipment/part logistics and technical data; analyze and convert source material into formats required by ILS products per contract specifications.
- Create logistics deliverables using standards such as GEIA-STD-0007, S1000D and applicable military/vendor specs.
- Use the Enhanced Automated Graphical Logistics Environment (EAGLE) database to manage, develop and edit logistics data.
- Enter and validate maintenance/parts data in Excel models and logistics databases.
- Interface with team leads, engineering, waterfront teams and other internal stakeholders.
- Support domestic travel up to ~10% for shipboard/yard validation events.
- Learn and apply a wide variety of source materials including engineering drawings, parts lists, vendor data, manuals, rework instructions, change notices, ECPs and Ship Change Documents.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, logistics, engineering technology, or a related field (required by start date).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Ability to meet physical requirements for shipyard validation events (ability to lift up to 25 lbs).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance — U.S. citizenship is required. DoD Secret clearance expected; active clearance required from day 1.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and strong written/verbal communication skills.
- Experience can be gained via coursework, internships/co-ops, projects, or on-the-job experience.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience creating or editing structured documentation (SGML, XML, HTML or similar markup languages).
- Familiarity with Adobe tools (Acrobat, Photoshop) and Office automation (Excel macros/formulas).
- Prior exposure to logistics/product data management tools (e.g., EAGLE or similar).

Compensation
- Salary range (good-faith estimate): $57,200 — $108,800 USD per year. Actual pay considers role level, experience, location, education, and skills.
