Role summary

Confidential Client is seeking an Analyst — Data Integrity, Procure-to-Pay (P2P) to join their IT team. This role focuses on analyzing P2P data and systems to detect discrepancies, drive improvements, and support operational stability across order-to-receipt and inventory processes.


What You’ll Do

  • Perform moderately complex analysis of data, incidents, and system issues across procure-to-pay and inventory workflows (PO/STO creation, MFC/store movements, returns, interface failures).
  • Create, maintain, and distribute control and exception reports to identify recurring themes and root causes.
  • Monitor interfaces and system integrations; assist with incident RCA and break/fix activities.
  • Track and measure the impact of implemented solutions and communicate results to stakeholders.
  • Recommend process improvements and help drive change with cross-functional teams.
  • Build and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Provide clear risk communication and mitigation recommendations to senior staff and leadership.
  • Assist with ad-hoc reporting and metric computation as needed.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyze moderately complex issues and propose data-backed recommendations.
  • Develop and distribute reports and dashboards to support decision-making.
  • Perform gap analysis and measure benefits of corrective actions.
  • Resolve operational issues and escalate when appropriate.
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and process changes for continuous improvement.
  • Support projects with data validation and testing related to P2P processes.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree OR High School Diploma/GED with at least 3 years’ experience in supply chain, procurement, finance, or related business role.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, charts, filtering/sorting, headers/footers, basic formatting).
  • Hands-on experience with SAP navigation related to order-to-receipt and inventory concepts.
  • Exposure to SQL querying and navigating large datasets.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to present findings to stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel up to 5% for business purposes.

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 1+ year internship or work experience in supply chain, procurement, or P2P operations.
  • Experience with P2P systems or supply chain co-op/rotation programs.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools or experience creating operational dashboards.

Location & schedule

  • Work location: Bannockburn / Deerfield area, IL (onsite at client site address).
  • Employment type: Full-time.
  • Travel: Up to ~5% (within/out of state) as needed.

Compensation & benefits

  • Estimated salary range: $63,100 – $101,200 per year (range provided to support pay transparency; final offer will depend on geography, experience, skills, and other factors).
