The Data Governance & Enablement Analyst supports foundational data governance and privacy operations by maintaining documentation, assisting with GDPR compliance activities, and coordinating governance controls and reporting. This entry-level role ensures data integrity and compliance through collaboration, training, and continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.

What You’ll Do
This is an entry-level Data Governance & Enablement role supporting data governance operations with a focus on privacy. You will help maintain governance documentation, assist with privacy-related activities (including GDPR), support data quality and remediation efforts, and help produce governance reporting and dashboards.
- Maintain and update data governance documentation: standards, procedures, controls, job aids, and training materials.
- Assist with GDPR-related tasks and other privacy support activities.
- Support data quality assessments: observe, log issues, and help coordinate remediation.
- Help develop, enhance, execute, and test governance-related controls.
- Prepare governance reports and dashboards for metrics and executive updates.
- Assist with stakeholder communications, meeting logistics, and governance forums.
- Contribute to metadata cataloging, data lineage mapping, and stewardship documentation.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to promote governance best practices.
- Collaborate with senior analysts and leads on governance initiatives and special projects.
- Research industry trends and recommend process improvements.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of the governance program.
Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in privacy, data governance, analytics, or a related field is required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred — OR equivalent professional experience.
- Familiarity with GDPR concepts and basic privacy compliance activities.
- Experience or exposure to metadata cataloging, data lineage, or data quality work.
- Strong attention to detail and good documentation skills.
- Comfortable producing reports and dashboards (Excel, BI tools, or similar).
- Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to coordinate meetings and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Occasional travel and valid driver’s license may be required.
Compensation & Benefits
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $71,000 - $125,000 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based on skills, experience, and geographic location. The role may also be eligible for incentive compensation.

Location & Work Model
- Work location: Brooklyn, OH.
- This role is listed with a telecommute/remote-capable work model while prioritizing in-office presence when needed.
- Occasional in-office attendance and travel (including overnight stays) may be required.
