The Analyst, Business Data supports critical sales data processes by maintaining accurate client and asset data across internal systems, collaborating with sales and technology teams to ensure data integrity and governance. This role involves data analysis, process improvement, and stakeholder communication within the Global Client Group Sales Operations division to enable data-driven sales decisions and efficient reporting.

What You’ll Do
This role supports sales data processes that enable strategic sales efforts. You will work with Global Client Group (GCG) sales operations, sales teams, and technology partners to maintain accurate client and asset records, process vendor data feeds, and support data governance and reporting.
- Collaborate with sales teams to maintain client, asset, and cash flow data across CRM and internal reporting systems
- Process incoming vendor data and reconcile discrepancies
- Proactively identify and close data gaps across systems
- Communicate analysis and updates clearly for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Help define requirements for business processes and projects involving customer data (e.g., Dynamics CRM and the client’s asset reporting system)
- Maintain process documentation and support data governance activities
- Meet regularly with stakeholders to understand needs and build professional relationships across GCG and other global teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; coursework in mathematics, statistics, information systems, computer science, finance, or accounting preferred
- 1–2 years’ experience in consulting, data analytics, business analysis, or a similar role (internships count)
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Python
- Experience with Snowflake or similar data platforms
- Experience with CRM systems (especially Microsoft Dynamics) and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a strong plus
- Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and perform analytical, quantitative analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication; able to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines
- Comfortable gathering requirements amid ambiguity and driving process change independently
- Work well both independently and in team settings
