What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring a reconciliation-focused Analyst, Alt Investments to support daily operations for syndicated bank loans and alternative investments. This role emphasizes accuracy, timely trade processing, and clear communication with investment managers and vendors.

• Perform daily position reconciliations across assigned accounts using internal reconciliation systems and Microsoft Excel
• Research, identify, and resolve position breaks and exceptions between Confidential Client records, investment managers, and third-party vendors
• Process and validate pending trades and capitalized interest transactions to ensure loan positions are updated accurately and on time
• Respond promptly and professionally to internal and external email inquiries
• Collaborate with accounting, client services, and investment managers to investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Document reconciliation findings, resolution steps, and track outstanding issues
• Support special projects and process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and controls
• Learn and use proprietary systems and reconciliation tools to support daily workflows

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical/problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and common Office applications
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and take ownership of work
• Strong initiative and accountability

Preferred

• Internship or work experience in finance, accounting, loan servicing, or trade operations
• Familiarity with reconciliation platforms or loan operations workflows

Schedule, Location & Work Authorization

• Location: Guadalupe, AZ (on-site or as required per client policy)
• Work schedule will align with Confidential Client’s U.S. operations hours (note: schedule may follow Chicago office start times; early start such as 6:30am/7:30am depending on daylight savings)
