Role summary
Confidential Client is seeking an Altimate System Project Coordinator (Associate) to join a technical team supporting a government program in Rockville, MD. This is a structured, entry-level contract role for someone energized by organizing complex work, producing clear technical writing, and using AI tools responsibly. The position is a deliberate learning path toward Oracle APEX development and related technical growth.
What you’ll do
The Altimate System Project Coordinator — Rockville, MD will:
- Own the technical team’s recurring meeting cadence: maintain calendars, draft agendas, and record decisions for coverage reviews, gap reviews, sprint ceremonies, and customer training.
- Build meeting agendas from the current backlog and maintain a visible tracker of decisions, owners, and due dates.
- Screen escalated support tickets to the program’s issue-description standard and log them for routing using team competency data.
- Escalate any ticket that cannot be staffed to the Deputy CTO the same business day.
- Maintain the program knowledge register (module guides, runbooks, defect lists); draft or update knowledge assets from patterns in resolved tickets and flag stale documentation.
- Assist the Deputy CTO in building AI-powered search over program documentation, tickets, and training materials; perform data-compliance checks before content ingestion.
- Use generative AI tools to accelerate summarization, research, and first-draft documentation—treating AI outputs as drafts that require senior review.
- Coordinate customer training sessions: maintain the calendar, track attendance, and collect post-session summaries.
- Prepare a monthly coverage and status report for the Deputy CTO.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any field, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- 1–3 years of professional or internship experience, including at least one client-facing or end-user-facing role.
- Demonstrated technical writing ability (report, thesis, publication, or procedure a stranger could follow). Writing samples will be requested.
- Proven ability to learn an unfamiliar system independently and document findings in a structured format.
- Evidence of sustained follow-through (running a recurring cadence, client reporting commitment, or keeping a tracked list current without prompting).
- Working use of generative AI tools for summarization, drafting, or research, with a clear understanding of appropriate data-handling limits.
- Exposure to SQL or basic database concepts sufficient to read a query and understand results.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to technical and non-technical audiences.
