What You’ll Do
You’ll start in an entry-level international operations role and rotate through frontline operations and field/sales exposure so you understand the business end-to-end and can progress into leadership. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Process airfreight shipments (import/export) end-to-end: request quotes, place bookings, create shipping documents, track shipments, update customers, coordinate final-mile delivery and support invoicing.
- Deliver operational excellence and high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Establish, manage and grow relationships with carriers and local service providers.
- Work with global teams and overseas partners on bookings, pricing and operational handoffs.
- Help implement new accounts, improve processes and streamline efficiencies.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and proactively.
- Track and exceed KPIs and contribute to branch growth initiatives.
Who You Are
You are an early-career professional with drive and leadership potential. Typical qualifications and attributes include:
- Recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree (any major).
- No more than two years’ professional work experience (excluding internships or work during study).
- Positive, enthusiastic and results-driven.
- Demonstrated leadership potential and a desire to grow into management.
- Confident, self-aware and reflective with a solution-focused mindset.
- Strong customer focus with solid analytical ability and good judgment.
- Looking for a long-term role where you can learn, develop and advance.
Compensation & Location
- Location: North Elizabeth, NJ (on-site / local operations).
- Employment type: Full-time, entry-level operations role.
- Estimated compensation: $62,918 per year (estimated).
