What You’ll Do
You will lead quality review for Gujarati-language AI training projects and guide reviewer and trainer teams to produce consistent, high-quality labels and feedback. Your day-to-day work will focus on evaluating AI-generated content and human annotations against detailed project rubrics, documenting issues, and improving processes.
- Lead and perform quality checks on Gujarati training data for accuracy, fluency, grammar, spelling, tone, register, cultural appropriateness, and preserved meaning.
- Review instruction-following, formatting, terminology, and adherence to project rubrics.
- Identify mistranslations, unnatural wording, ambiguity, unsupported or hallucinated claims, and inconsistent terminology.
- Provide clear, actionable feedback to reviewers and trainers; escalate recurring or critical quality problems.
- Maintain and improve style guides, FAQs, trackers, quality notes, examples, and onboarding materials.
- Support onboarding for trainers and reviewers and align teams on updates to language guidelines and workflows.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to boost reviewer consistency and reduce rework.
What We’re Looking For
We seek a clear communicator with deep Gujarati language expertise and a background in mathematics and language-review work. The role is entry-level in level-of-responsibility terms but requires demonstrated domain experience.
- Professional fluency in Gujarati — strong reading and writing skills.
- Strong English communication skills for interpreting guidelines and writing feedback.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mathematics.
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in Gujarati writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, annotation, education, or related language-review work.
- Experience assessing content against rubrics and identifying mistranslations, unnatural phrasing, hallucinations, ambiguity, and terminology inconsistencies.
- Experience supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QA contributors is helpful.
- Familiarity with AI training, data annotation, large language models, prompt/response evaluation, or rubric-driven model QA is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, organized record-keeping, and ability to write concise, actionable feedback.
Compensation & Hours
- $30 per hour.
- Part-time, 20+ hours per week.
- This is a remote, contractor role open to applicants in India, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
- Entry-level role (in seniority) but requires at least three years of relevant professional experience.
- Employment type: Part-time contractor (telecommute).
