What You’ll Do
The Confidential Client's IT team is hiring an entry-level AI Specialist to help implement AI solutions that improve developer productivity and accelerate delivery. Responsibilities include:
- Support deployment, testing, and adoption of AI code-assistant tools that increase developer productivity and improve software delivery.
- Build and maintain low-code AI agents connected to approved data sources, APIs, and automation workflows.
- Create and maintain reusable AI assets (prompts, agent instructions, knowledge sources, automation templates) for business teams and developers.
- Prepare, validate, and document datasets used for AI solutions.
- Execute model evaluation and basic testing using established tooling and metrics.
- Follow established AI development, security, and governance standards and participate in code reviews.
- Support AI enablement activities: user training, documentation, workshops, demos, and champion programs.
- Maintain clear documentation and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience (degree must be completed before start date). Willing to consider candidates graduating Fall 2026 if degree is completed before the start date.
- ~1 year of experience (or equivalent education) in software development, data, or analytics with exposure to AI/ML concepts and tooling.
- Proficiency with Python and basic software engineering practices.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and clear written and verbal communication.
- Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and basic CI/CD practices is a plus.
Preferred
- Master’s degree in a related field (may offset up to two years of software development experience).
- Cloud or AI fundamentals certifications (e.g., Azure AI Fundamentals) are a plus.
