What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking a hands-on AI Software Engineer to join a Video Insights team focused on building LLM-powered tools and integrations. In this contract role you will:

• Design, implement, and deploy AI/LLM-driven features that extract insights from video and related metadata
• Integrate AI solutions with internal platforms and tools (examples: Jira, Tableau)
• Work with AWS services to host and scale model inference and data pipelines
• Debug and triage issues across distributed systems and production environments
• Collaborate with product and analytics teams to translate use cases into reliable, maintainable services
• Produce technical documentation and runbooks to support handoffs and on-call processes

What We’re Looking For

Minimum qualifications — candidates should be able to demonstrate:

• Experience building or deploying solutions that use large language models (LLMs)
• Hands-on experience with AWS services for compute, storage, and deployment
• Strong debugging skills in distributed systems and production troubleshooting
• Familiarity integrating applications with tools like Jira and Tableau
• Ability to work independently as a contractor and clearly communicate technical trade-offs

Nice to Have

• Prior work on video analytics or media pipelines
• Experience designing observability and runbooks for ML-backed services

Pay, Schedule & Contract Terms

• Pay rate: $70–$75 per hour (W2)
• Employment type: W2 Contractor
• Expected duration: through 12/31/2026 (end of year)
• Schedule: Hybrid model (example staffing pattern: 4 onsite days / 1 remote day); specific on-site schedule will be provided by the client
• Note: Background checks and proof of work authorization may be required per client policy
