What You’ll Do

• Design, implement, and productionize AI/ML components and software that solve real-world problems in the energy consulting domain.
• Collaborate with data engineers, product managers, and domain experts to turn data into reliable models and services.
• Write clean, maintainable code and automated tests; participate in code reviews and maintain CI/CD standards.
• Build and maintain model training pipelines, data validation, and monitoring for model performance in production.
• Integrate models into scalable services, APIs, or analytics workflows and support lifecycle operations (retraining, rollback, observability).
• Communicate technical trade-offs and deliverables clearly to cross-functional stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of software engineering experience, with significant exposure to machine learning or AI projects (industry or research).
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience writing production-quality code.
• Hands-on experience with model evaluation, validation, and deployment in production environments.
• Familiarity with data pipelines, version control (Git), testing, and debugging distributed systems.
• Good problem solving, systems thinking, and ability to work independently as well as in teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and an emphasis on delivering measurable outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) and common ML tooling.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services for compute/storage (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Background in MLOps, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Experience in the energy, utilities, or consulting sector is helpful but not required.
• Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in Computer Science, ML, Statistics, or related field is a plus.
