Role summary

Confidential Client, an AI training platform, is hiring remote English-speaking evaluators to review AI-generated text, images, video, and audio on a contract (1099) basis. You will perform detailed, evidence-based assessments of model outputs that help improve real-world AI behavior. This is flexible, remote project work with weekly payments.

Key responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and rate naturalness, clarity, and usefulness
• Compare pairs of AI-generated images and videos to decide which best follows the prompt
• Inspect outputs closely (zoom, replay) to spot problems such as distorted anatomy, flicker, text errors, or audio/video mismatch
• Rate outputs across adherence, quality, and realism, and provide concise written explanations in English pointing to specific issues
• Occasionally record short voice explanations when required by a task

Common project tasks

• Image evaluations: compare two outputs for the same prompt and choose the better one; flag visible AI artifacts
• Video evaluations: rank AI-generated videos against prompts or edited versions versus source clips
• Video caption labeling: split first-person clips into actions and write precise captions from AI drafts
• Audio & voice evaluations: rate generated speech for naturalness, pronunciation, and voice-matching quality

Ideal qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with clear written communication
• Strong attention to detail and patience to replay/zoom when something seems off
• Comfortable roleplaying natural conversational scenarios on the spot
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews
• Able to make a decisive choice when both options have flaws
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or higher

What you'll need to sign up

• Reliable internet access and a device capable of running evaluation tasks

Payment & schedule

• Project pay: up to USD $15 per hour (rates vary by project, skill level, and location)
• Additional incentives: average +7.5% via Missions (top quartile sees ~11% uplift on average)
• Payments processed weekly (Tuesdays) for work completed in the prior pay period, via PayPal, AirTM, or ACH
• Note: rates may differ during onboarding or specific project phases; some projects offer higher rates for advanced qualifications (e.g., PhD)
