What You’ll Do
We’re working with a Confidential Client to find a technical leader to serve as AI MVP Lead & Co‑Founder. This is a remote, part‑time co‑founder role focused on taking an AI product from concept to a working MVP and beyond.
- Own the end‑to‑end delivery of the MVP: architecture, engineering decisions, and deployment
- Translate product vision into a pragmatic technical roadmap and iterate rapidly
- Design and implement early product architecture and integrations that scale
- Build, test and ship prototype features; take responsibility for code quality and release processes
- Work closely with founders on user validation, product discovery, and customer feedback loops
- Mentor any early engineering contributors and establish basic engineering practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent practical experience)
- Demonstrated experience building software products from concept to live MVP (can include internships, projects, or early career roles)
- Familiarity with modern AI tools, ML workflows, or applied AI projects (entry‑level experience is acceptable if you can demonstrate relevant work)
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to make pragmatic tradeoffs in early product stages
- Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, ambiguous startup environment
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in a technical co‑founder / CTO / lead engineer role or strong contributions to early‑stage startups
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD, and data pipelines
- Experience running user validation and incorporating feedback into product iterations
Compensation & Role Details
- Employment type: Part‑time
- Equity: >30% (negotiable based on fit and contribution)
- Estimated salary (for reference): $89,249 per year (estimated)
- Location: Remote. Company based in Lionshead Lake, NJ. Candidates should be able to coordinate with a U.S.‑based founding team and comply with relevant employment and tax requirements.
