What You’ll Do

This is an entry-level AI & Machine Learning Engineer role focused on building practical, employer-ready skills. You will work on real-world projects and tools that connect programming, data, and machine learning to deliver usable AI features.

  • Implement and iterate on machine learning models and data pipelines using Python.
  • Preprocess and analyze structured and unstructured data for modeling (text / basic NLP tasks).
  • Integrate third-party APIs and ML frameworks to build end-to-end AI-powered features.
  • Evaluate model performance, run experiments, and document results for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with engineers and non-technical team members to translate use cases into model requirements.
  • Produce reproducible code, tests, and clear technical notes that demonstrate how models support business needs.

Who You Are (Qualifications)

Minimum / required qualifications suitable for entry-level hires:

  • Programming experience in Python (projects, coursework, or internships).
  • Familiarity with basic ML libraries or frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar).
  • Experience working with data (CSV, JSON), including cleaning and simple feature engineering.
  • Understanding of basic machine learning concepts: training, validation, evaluation metrics.
  • Good communication skills — able to explain technical output to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Eagerness to learn, iterate, and receive technical feedback.

Nice-to-Have (Preferred)

  • Coursework, projects, or internships in NLP, data pipelines, or ML model deployment.
  • Experience calling and integrating REST APIs or using cloud-hosted model APIs.
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and basic software engineering practices.
  • Background in statistics, math, or computer science (students and recent grads are encouraged).
  • Portfolio of small ML projects, Kaggle/Colab notebooks, or GitHub examples.

Why This Role?

This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates, career-switchers, or junior programmers who want a clear path into AI/ML. The role emphasizes practical, demonstrable skills that employers can assess quickly — coding, data work, and model evaluation — and provides exposure to hiring expectations for junior ML positions.
