What You’ll Do
As an AI Governance Experienced Associate with our Confidential Client’s AI governance team, you will support the design, implementation, and assessment of AI governance frameworks and controls aligned to industry standards. You’ll work on client-facing engagements to gather requirements, document processes and controls, analyze risk, and synthesize findings for technical and non-technical stakeholders. This role provides hands-on exposure to AI lifecycle considerations and established risk frameworks, and offers opportunities to contribute to practical, scalable governance solutions.
Responsibilities
- Navigate complex regulatory and industry standards related to AI governance and risk.
- Assess governance, risk, and control activities across AI systems and processes.
- Gather and synthesize requirements from stakeholders and diverse information sources.
- Document processes, control designs, and test procedures; support control testing and validation.
- Help enhance internal controls and governance structures to mitigate AI-related risks.
- Translate technical AI/ML concepts into clear guidance for non-technical audiences.
- Build commercial awareness and deliver client-facing insights that drive business value.
- Uphold professional standards, including client-specific codes of conduct and independence rules.
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and adapt to fast-paced client environments.
- Take ownership of deliverables and continuously develop technical and advisory skills.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience (relevant internships, co-ops, or professional roles count).
- Willingness to travel up to 20% for client engagements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or coursework in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science/Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics/Statistics, or Project/Technology Management.
- Experience or exposure to AI/ML governance, risk, controls, audit, testing, or validation.
- Awareness of leading AI risk and governance frameworks (for example, NIST AI, ISO standards).
- Experience supporting the design or assessment of governance models, policies, standards, and control programs.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated learning mindset and ownership of personal development.
What We Offer
- Salary range: $63,000 - $141,500 (actual compensation will depend on experience, skills, and location and is subject to applicable laws).
