What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking an AI Engineer / Data Scientist (Experienced Associate) to join an AI Engineering team focused on building and deploying scalable AI and ML solutions. You will partner with data scientists, ML engineers, software engineers, and product teams to turn models into production-ready systems that deliver business value.

  • Design and implement AI systems that transform raw data into actionable insights
  • Develop, validate, and tune scalable machine learning models for client use cases
  • Prepare, clean, and engineer datasets for modeling and analysis
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate models into backend and frontend systems
  • Build and deploy reproducible model pipelines and production-ready AI services
  • Apply advanced algorithms and evaluation methods to improve model performance
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends and support data-driven recommendations
  • Support client-facing engagements with clear technical deliverables and documentation
  • Continuously learn and adopt new tools, frameworks, and best practices in AI engineering

Qualifications (Minimum Requirements)

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience in AI, machine learning, data science, or related software/data engineering work

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Degree in Analytics/Data Science, Artificial Intelligence/Robotics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering
  • Certifications or hands-on experience with cloud and data platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Snowflake)
  • Experience deploying ML models to production (containers, serverless, feature stores, CI/CD for ML)
  • Strong Python skills and familiarity with ML libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
  • Experience with data engineering tasks: ETL, SQL, Spark, or similar distributed data tools
  • Client-facing experience in fast-paced consulting or product environments
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $63,000 - $141,500 per year. Actual compensation will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and will follow applicable employment laws.
  • All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus (per client policy).
  • Typical benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement/401(k), paid holidays, vacation, and paid sick leave — specific offerings will be shared by our client during the hiring process.
  • Employment type: Full-time. Location: Stamford, CT (onsite / hybrid arrangements as determined by the client).
