The Opportunity
Join a Confidential Client team focused on designing, building, testing, and deploying scalable AI-powered solutions for real-world business problems. In this AI Engineer / Data Scientist role you will apply data science, machine learning, and software engineering to transform raw data into production-ready AI systems. You’ll collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, backend and frontend developers, and product teams to deliver reliable, performant AI features that drive client outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing AI systems that turn raw data into actionable insights
- Developing and training scalable machine learning models to support client decision-making
- Conducting data wrangling, preprocessing, and feature engineering for model readiness
- Applying advanced algorithms and evaluation methods to improve model performance
- Building and deploying software components and pipelines that integrate ML models into platforms
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing applications and workflows
- Analyzing complex datasets to surface trends, anomalies, and business-relevant signals
- Contributing to client engagements by delivering high-quality, timely work and adapting to changing priorities
- Engaging in continuous learning to deepen technical skills and follow ML/AI best practices
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
- At least 1 year of professional experience in AI, data science, machine learning, or related software development
What Sets You Apart (Preferred)
- Degree focus in Analytics/Data Science, AI/Robotics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar
- Certifications or experience with cloud and data platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.)
- Demonstrated proficiency implementing machine learning solutions and productionizing models
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to distill patterns from complex datasets
- Experience supporting clients or stakeholders in fast-paced, project-driven environments
- A track record of delivering consistent, high-quality work and collaborating across teams
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $63,000 - $141,500 (Actual compensation will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.)
- Eligible for annual discretionary bonus where applicable.
- Benefits typically include medical, dental, vision, retirement (401k), paid holidays, vacation, and personal/family sick leave. Exact benefit details will be provided by the hiring organization.
