What You’ll Do

As an AI Engineer / Data Scientist (Associate level) you will design, build, test, and deploy AI and ML solutions that turn raw data into reliable, explainable insights for clients in an assurance context. You will work on end-to-end pipelines — from data wrangling and modeling to evaluation, monitoring, and documentation — and help build reusable tools and automated tests to support responsible AI deployment.

  • Design and implement AI systems and ML models to generate actionable insights
  • Develop, train, and deploy models using Python and modern ML libraries
  • Perform data wrangling, preprocessing, feature engineering, and data modeling
  • Integrate AI solutions into existing data infrastructure and relational databases
  • Build automated evaluation tests and monitoring tools for performance, robustness, bias, drift, and explainability
  • Analyze technical evidence, evaluate technical controls, and document findings and recommendations clearly
  • Translate technical results into concise insights for non-technical stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support client engagements and deliverables
  • Continuously learn new techniques and help improve reusable code, datasets, and evaluation workflows

Minimum Qualifications (What You Must Have)

  • Bachelor’s degree (in a relevant field)
  • At least 1 year of professional experience working with data, analytics, or software development
  • Proficiency in Python and experience with data analysis or ML toolkits
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal communication skills for documenting technical findings

Preferred Qualifications (What Sets You Apart)

  • Degree or coursework in Analytics/Data Science, AI/Robotics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering
  • Hands-on experience with machine learning pipelines, model evaluation, and monitoring
  • Familiarity with testing practices for AI systems: robustness, failure modes, bias, drift, and explainability
  • Experience building automated tests, reference datasets, or monitoring dashboards
  • Ability to translate technical outcomes into business recommendations for clients
  • Team-first attitude, adaptable to fast-paced client work, and eager to grow domain and technical expertise

Location, Travel & Employment Type

  • Location: Florham Park, NJ (on-site or hybrid per client needs)
  • Travel: Up to 20%
  • Employment type: Full-time (Direct hire by Confidential Client)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $63,000 - $141,500 (actual pay will depend on experience, qualifications, and location)
  • Eligible for annual discretionary bonus and benefits (medical, dental, vision, retirement/401(k), paid time off, and other benefits per Confidential Client policy)
