- Translate customer requirements, technical baselines, and capabilities narratives into proposal artifacts (solution descriptions, compliance mappings, features/benefits tables, discriminators).
- Draft and refine content for technical and management volumes that highlights mission fit, risk reduction, and measurable value.
- Create and refine reusable solution architectures, workflows, and patterns focused on clarity, compliance, and competitive differentiation.
- Use internal enterprise AI platforms (e.g., secure/government AI environments) and commercial tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to analyze RFPs/RFIs, generate solution concepts, and accelerate content production.
- Develop and maintain repeatable prompt patterns, AI workflows, and prompt-engineering best practices to produce consistent, high-quality outputs.
- Curate and validate AI-generated content to ensure technical coherence, compliance, and alignment with capture strategy.
- Support color-team reviews (Pink/Red/Gold) by rapidly iterating solution narratives based on reviewer feedback and evolving strategy.
- Work closely with capture managers, proposal managers, technical SMEs, and operations/program managers as a shared resource across multiple pursuits.
- Advocate for safe, secure, and compliant AI use; document lessons learned and coach colleagues on effective AI practices.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years supporting defense (DoD) mission support or equivalent government mission environments.
- Strong domain knowledge of defense mission areas (systems integration, logistics & sustainment, training/simulation, C5ISR, or similar).
- Demonstrated proficiency using commercial AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) for analysis, drafting, solution exploration, and content refinement.

- Conceptual knowledge of generative AI concepts (RAG, prompt engineering, AI-assisted analytics).
- Experience with structured capture/proposal processes (e.g., Shipley, gated reviews, color teams).
- Prior collaboration with cross-functional capture teams including technical SMEs and program managers.
Location & Working Conditions
- Remote within CONUS (U.S.); occasional travel for in-person team sessions, workshops, or proposal orals (estimated <20%).
- Full-time, pre-award (capture/proposal) role — no direct post-award execution responsibilities.
- Must support proposal timelines, including surge work and non-standard hours when required.
- Reports to the Lead Solution Architect and operates as a shared resource across multiple pursuits.
