What You’ll Do
Join a Confidential Client's Government & Public Services practice as an AI & Data Engineering Analyst and help build enterprise AI, machine learning, and data engineering solutions that deliver measurable value. You will work on teams that design, develop, and deploy solutions across the AI lifecycle — including chatbots and virtual assistants, machine learning models, and data platform engineering. This is an entry-level/early-career consulting role with strong exposure to clients, cross-functional teams, and enterprise architecture.
- Architect, design, develop, and deploy AI-driven enterprise solutions (chatbots, virtual assistants, ML, cognitive services)
- Build and maintain data engineering pipelines and ETL processes to support model training and analytics
- Implement and evaluate machine learning models and algorithms; collaborate on feature engineering and model validation
- Assist with model deployment, monitoring, and iteration in cloud or on-prem environments
- Translate technical work into clear recommendations and deliverables for clients and stakeholders
- Contribute to client presentations, technical documentation, and project artifacts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data scientists, software engineers, architects, product managers) to deliver integrated solutions
- Support multiple projects and prioritize deliverables in a fast-paced consulting environment
Qualifications (Required)
This posting is intended for candidates at the start of their career path in AI and data engineering.
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university and expected to graduate by Summer 2027 OR hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Computational Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, Robotics, or equivalent
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Must reside within a commutable distance (for example, a ~100-mile radius) of the assigned office with ability to commute daily if required
- Ability to travel up to ~50% on average, depending on client/engagement needs
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and in teams
- Attention to detail, professional demeanor, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- GPA 3.4 or higher
- Internship, project, or coursework experience in AI, ML, data science, computational engineering, or robotics
- Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and ML libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data engineering tools (Spark, Airflow, Kafka)
- Experience with model deployment and monitoring (Docker, Kubernetes, MLOps practices)
- Understanding of algorithms, statistics, and feature engineering
Compensation & Location
- Estimated base salary: $95,000 — $98,000 per year (range disclosed by client)
- Location: Rosslyn, VA (commutable)
