Overview

Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level AI & Data Engineering Analyst to join their Government & Public Services practice. You will help design, build, and deploy AI-driven enterprise solutions (chatbots, virtual assistants, machine learning models, and cognitive services) that drive mission outcomes for public-sector clients. This role combines AI, data engineering, and enterprise architecture to deliver scalable analytics and intelligent automation.

What You’ll Do

  • Architect, design, develop, and deploy AI solutions spanning chatbots, virtual assistants, ML models, and cognitive services.
  • Build data pipelines and data engineering components to enable model training, inference, and analytics at scale.
  • Work with cross-functional consulting teams to translate client needs into technical requirements and solution designs.
  • Implement and validate advanced algorithms, ensuring model performance, fairness, and reliability.
  • Support deployment and integration of AI services into enterprise environments and client systems.
  • Produce high-quality documentation, technical designs, and client-facing deliverables.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify measurable business/mission value and track performance.
  • Contribute to team knowledge sharing, code reviews, and best practice development.

Qualifications (Required)

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university and expected to graduate by Summer 2027, or have completed a bachelor’s degree or higher in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Computational Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, Robotics, or an equivalent program.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Ability to reside within a commutable distance (for example, a 100-mile radius) of the assigned office and commute daily if required.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% on average, depending on client needs.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality deliverables.
  • Ability to manage priorities and work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher.
  • Internship, project, or coursework experience in AI, machine learning, data engineering, robotics, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with deploying ML models and services (MLOps), cloud platforms, or conversational AI frameworks.
  • Experience with data pipeline tools, SQL, and programming in Python or equivalent languages.

Compensation & Location

  • A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $95,000 to $98,000 per year. The final offer will consider skills, experience, and other business factors. The disclosed range may be adjusted for geographic differentials where applicable.
  • Primary work location: Fort Myer, VA (commutable).
  • This is an entry-level opportunity intended for candidates beginning or building a career in AI and data engineering.
