What You’ll Do

Join Confidential Client’s Government & Public Services practice as an AI & Data Engineering Analyst and help public-sector organizations solve complex problems using AI, data engineering, and enterprise architecture. In this role you will:

  • Architect, design, develop, and deploy enterprise AI solutions (chatbots, virtual assistants, ML models, cognitive services).
  • Build scalable data engineering pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows to support analytics and AI systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical designs and prototypes.
  • Implement and validate machine learning models and productionize them with robust monitoring and testing.
  • Support data modeling, feature engineering, model training, and deployment into cloud or on-prem environments.
  • Prepare technical documentation, participate in design reviews, and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to solution architecture decisions that balance performance, security, and cost.
  • Assist with client-facing engagements, including discovery, requirements gathering, and status updates.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and expected to graduate by Summer 2027, or have completed a bachelor’s degree or higher in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Computational Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, Robotics, or an equivalent program.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Must reside within a commutable distance (e.g., ~100-mile radius) of the assigned office with ability to commute daily if required.
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% on average, depending on client assignments.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate on teams.

Preferred:

  • GPA of 3.4 or higher.
  • Internship, project, or coursework experience in AI, ML, data engineering, computational engineering, or robotics.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), Python, SQL, and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).

Compensation & Additional Details

  • Recruiting for this role ends on 07/26/2026.
  • Salary range (estimated): $95,000 to $98,000 per year. This range reflects typical compensation factors (skills, experience, location adjustments) and may be adjusted based on candidate qualifications and the particular office/location where the position is filled.
  • Employment type: Full-time, permanent.
  • This role may require the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
  • No employer sponsorship for work authorization will be provided for this role.
