What You’ll Do

As an entry-level AI Data Analyst (Junior) supporting a Confidential Client, you will help turn data into actionable insight for machine learning and analytics teams. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Support data collection, cleaning, and labeling for AI/ML datasets
  • Run exploratory data analysis to surface data quality issues and basic trends
  • Write and maintain SQL queries and Python scripts to transform datasets
  • Create reproducible notebooks and documentation for data pipelines
  • Validate model inputs and outputs by producing summary reports and visualizations
  • Work closely with engineers and data scientists to prioritize data tasks and fix issues
  • Contribute to team processes that improve data reliability and labeling accuracy

Minimum Qualifications

We use the same screening standards third-party recruiters use to identify strong early-career candidates. Minimum qualifications for this entry-level role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science) OR equivalent internship/coursework experience
  • Practical experience with SQL and at least one scripting language (Python preferred)
  • Familiarity with basic statistics and data cleaning techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow repeatable processes
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with pandas, NumPy, or similar data libraries
  • Exposure to machine learning concepts and workflows
  • Experience with data labeling, annotation tools, or ETL processes
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau)
  • Coursework or internships involving AI model evaluation or data pipelines

Tools & Technologies

  • Python (pandas, NumPy, Jupyter notebooks)
  • SQL (MySQL, Postgres or similar)
  • Version control (Git)
  • Basic Linux/command-line skills
  • Optional: labeling platforms, cloud storage (S3 or equivalent)

Location & Schedule

  • Location: Boardman, OR (onsite or hybrid as defined by the Confidential Client)
  • Employment type: Full-time, Entry-level
  • Typical schedule: standard U.S. business hours; shift flexibility may be required depending on project timelines

Compensation and benefits are determined by the Confidential Client and will be communicated during the hiring process.
