What You’ll Do
You will support continuous improvement of manufacturing operations by applying engineering fundamentals and practical problem solving to production processes. Working with cross-functional teams, you’ll help develop, implement, and validate advanced manufacturing processes that increase quality, reduce cost, and improve throughput.
- Support development and implementation of advanced manufacturing processes to improve quality and efficiency
- Collaborate with production, quality, design, and automation teams to identify opportunities for process optimization and automation
- Analyze production and quality data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions
- Participate in root-cause analysis, failure investigations, and corrective/preventive action plans
- Assist with process documentation, control plans, work instructions, and training for shop-floor teams
- Support pilot builds, process validations, and continuous improvement projects
Qualifications
You Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Engineering, Science, Technology, Mathematics) from an accredited institution
- Experience or internship in manufacturing engineering or a closely related field
- Basic understanding of manufacturing technologies, process optimization, and quality control principles
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and basic statistics to support improvements
- Proficiency with manufacturing software tools and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred / We Value
- Graduate degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Internship or co-op experience in advanced manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of automation, robotics, or additive manufacturing technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset (Lean, Six Sigma concepts)
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to a fast-paced environment
