Position Overview

This is an on-site, full-time Admissions Coordinator role supporting a confidential client in the Healthcare & Nursing industry. The Admissions Coordinator will facilitate placements into adult services and recruit Host Homes and Foster Homes for children. This posting includes a hiring range of $22.81 - $24.86 per hour.


Hiring Range

  • $22.81 - $24.86 per hour (hiring range provided by client)

Key Responsibilities

  • Market the client’s program offerings and recommend appropriate services based on individual needs and safety.
  • Respond to referrals and coordinate communication with families, guardians, and other stakeholders.
  • Recruit residential providers, Host Homes, and Foster Homes for adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).
  • Serve as a liaison with community boards and referral sources; attend enrollment meetings to coordinate residential placements.
  • Maintain accurate tracking and documentation of marketing, referrals, and placement activities.
  • Implement and execute marketing plans using print, electronic, direct mail, and social media channels.
  • Interview prospective providers, manage application processes, and match individuals to appropriate placements.
  • Determine funding sources for placements (Medicaid, Social Security, insurance) and coordinate necessary billing/referral information.

Minimum Requirements

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or Public Relations or
  • Minimum of one year sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid Colorado driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Reliable automobile with adequate, valid auto insurance
  • CPR/First Aid certification within 60 days of hire

Preferred:

  • Minimum two years of sales-related experience
  • Minimum one year experience in residential sales
  • Minimum one year experience working with the I/DD population

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for individual and group settings
  • Strong critical thinking and sound judgment skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly and change direction as needed
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize a varied workload, and direct others when necessary
  • Advanced computer proficiency
  • Knowledge of community resources (public agencies, social supports)
  • Ability to organize case material clearly for interdisciplinary teams
  • Reliable attendance and the ability/willingness to travel statewide (daily driving up to one hour; occasionally up to eight hours)

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Regular walking, standing, bending, sitting, stooping, stretching and reaching for periods up to two hours
  • Hand/finger dexterity required
  • Regular lifting up to 25 pounds; transfers or heavier lifts (>50 lbs) to be performed with assistance
  • Occasional physical interventions may be required
  • Position exposes team members to a range of settings (quiet to noisy, indoor and outdoor environments)
  • Possible limited exposure to bloodborne pathogens, infectious disease, or hazardous chemicals
