Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Administrative Assistant to support insurance operations and day-to-day administrative tasks. This remote-or-hybrid role is ideal for someone organized, detail-oriented, and eager to develop a career in the insurance & financial-services space.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter, update, and maintain information in databases and spreadsheets with high accuracy
- Review data for completeness; correct errors and inconsistencies
- Maintain confidential records and handle sensitive information appropriately
- Prepare and assist with reports, forms, and administrative documents
- Answer and direct phone calls; respond to routine emails
- Support team members with general administrative tasks and special projects
- Assist with state licensing and contracting requirements as needed
- Support project tracking, task lists, and status updates for assigned initiatives
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field — or equivalent experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to accurately enter data while meeting deadlines
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Professional attitude and eagerness to learn
Preferred
- Prior administrative, clerical, customer service, or office experience (including internship/volunteer)
- Experience with spreadsheets or database software
- Familiarity with insurance products or insurance operations
