Role Overview
Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Actuarial Analyst to join their consultancy practice in Talcott Village, CT. This is a hands-on consulting role where you'll help build models, analyze risk, and support client-facing engagements across Health, Property & Casualty, Life, Rewards & Wellbeing, or Mergers & Acquisitions communities of practice.

- Analyze and interpret large datasets with statistical methods to quantify risk and recommend solutions.
- Support projects across specific actuarial areas and grow technical expertise aligned with a Community of Practice.
- Communicate findings clearly in written reports and client presentations.
- Learn and apply new concepts, frameworks, and technologies to improve client outcomes.
Team & Impact

Qualifications
Required
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and expected to graduate by Spring/Summer 2027 with a bachelor’s degree or higher in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related program.
- Strong academic record (3.0 cumulative GPA required; 3.2 cumulative GPA preferred).
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
- Ability to travel up to 50% on average, depending on client needs.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at time of employment.
- Must live within a commutable distance to the assigned office (e.g., ~100-mile radius) with ability to commute daily if required.
Preferred
- Completion of at least one exam offered by the Society of Actuaries (SOA), Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS), or comparable organization prior to July 1, 2027.

Compensation & Timing
- Estimated annual pay (source estimate): $128,424 per year.
- A referenced reasonable estimate in source materials: $95,000 (used for internal compensation context).
- Recruiting for this role ends on 2026-11-01 (per source).
Compensation decisions will consider relevant skills, experience, certifications, and organizational needs.
