What You’ll Do
This Accounts Receivable Associate will support the finance team at our Confidential Client's Bartlett, IL location by processing and posting customer invoices and payments, performing reconciliations, and supporting month-end A/R reporting. This is an excellent entry-level to early-career role for candidates with 1–3 years of AR or collections experience or relevant accounting education.

Primary Responsibilities
- Receive, reconcile, and process customer invoices.
- Apply cash/check payments to customer accounts (cash application).
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, short pays, and skipped invoices.
- Scan and file customer invoices and maintain accurate documentation.
- Prepare and distribute customer A/R statements by mail or email.
- Support preparation of monthly and ad hoc Accounts Receivable reports.
- Assist with collections activities and escalate account issues when needed.
- Perform general ledger reconciliations and support month-end close as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Entry-level role; 1–3 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable, cash application, or collections preferred.
- Authorization: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Skills & Competencies
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data, draw logical conclusions, and make recommendations.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced finance environment and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
