What You’ll Do

This Accounts Receivable Administrator role is a support position within the finance team. You will be responsible for accurate, timely processing and posting of customer invoices and payments, plus routine A/R tasks that keep customer accounts current.

  • Receive, reconcile and process all customer invoices
  • Correct and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
  • Reconcile short pays and skipped invoices
  • Scan and file customer invoices and related documents
  • Apply cash and checks to customer accounts
  • Print and email customer A/R statements
  • Prepare A/R reporting (monthly and ad-hoc)

Who This Role Is For

This is an entry-level position ideal for candidates beginning their accounting/finance career or those with 1–2 years of related office experience. You will work closely with the A/R supervisor and finance team to maintain accurate customer account records.


Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred

Experience

  • Entry-level — previous internships or coursework in accounting helpful

Professional skills

  • Proficient computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to read, write and speak English
  • Able to analyze basic data and draw logical conclusions and recommendations

  • Estimated annual pay: $59,833 per year (estimated)
  • Location: Bartlett, IL
