What You’ll Do

As an Accounting Manager with our confidential client, you will support delivery of tax and accounting services for a portfolio of clients, build technical expertise, and help mentor junior staff.

• Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and non-profit entities
• Assist with accounting, bookkeeping, and financial statement preparation
• Support audit, review, and compilation engagements as assigned
• Research tax regulations and accounting guidance to support compliance and planning
• Identify potential tax savings opportunities and surface compliance risks for supervisor review
• Communicate with clients to gather information and respond to routine inquiries
• Maintain accurate workpapers and ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and firm policies
• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards
• Contribute to process improvements and more efficient workflows

What We’re Looking For

• CPA license or actively pursuing CPA (preferred)

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

• 2–4 years of public accounting experience or equivalent tax/accounting experience

• Working knowledge of GAAP, tax compliance, and accounting principles

• Experience with tax and accounting software such as CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx, GoSystem, BNA, or similar platforms

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines with accuracy and professionalism

• Strong organizational skills

• Prior experience in a public accounting firm environment
• Exposure to audit and assurance engagements
• Experience working directly with small business clients
• Progress toward CPA licensure

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation: $55,000 – $80,000 annually (range provided by the client; final offer will depend on experience and qualifications).
