Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Accounting and Finance Analyst in Rosslyn, VA. This Accounting and Finance Analyst — Rosslyn, VA will support public-sector consulting engagements focused on financial controls, reporting, grant management, and budgeting. Recruiting for this role ends on 7/26/2026.
What You’ll Do
As an Accounting and Finance Analyst you will:
- Support establishment and maintenance of financial policies, internal controls, and accounting records in compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations
- Assist with grant program components including budgeting, planning, compliance monitoring, and reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to support client decision-making and performance improvement
- Use firm technology and reporting tools to improve data quality and financial transparency
- Contribute to project workstreams, collaborate with team members, and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Manage tasks across multiple assignments and help drive timely delivery of work products
Who we’re looking for (Qualifications)
Required:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university and expected to graduate by Summer 2027, or possess a bachelor’s degree (Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent)
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Ability to reside within a commutable distance (e.g., ~100-mile radius) of the assigned office and commute daily if required
- Willingness to travel up to 50% on average as client needs dictate
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
- Minimum age: 18 at time of employment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with high quality work product and professional demeanor
- Able to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and work both independently and on teams
Preferred:
- GPA of 3.4 or higher
- Internship, project, or coursework experience in accounting or finance
- Educational coursework or credits that meet the state requirements to sit for the CPA exam or for CPA licensure in the office location prior to starting full-time
Location, travel & clearance
- Primary work location: Rosslyn, VA (22209)
- Commutable distance required (ability to commute daily to assigned office)
- Travel: up to 50% (client-dependent)
- Clearance: candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance
Compensation
- Reasonable estimated pay range: $84,000 to $87,000 per year. The final offer will depend on experience, skills, licensure/certifications, and other factors.
- This disclosed range has not been adjusted for any geographic differential for where the position may be filled.
