What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking an energetic Accounting Associate to support accounts payable and general accounting operations at our Exton, PA corporate office. This role focuses on accurate invoice processing and vendor management while providing exposure to month-end close, reconciliations, and other accounting projects as you grow.

  • Process purchase order and job-related invoices accurately and timely, ensuring proper coding to jobs, general ledger accounts, and cost centers.
  • Review invoices for payment terms and discount opportunities to maximize early-payment savings.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies related to payments, billings, and account balances.
  • Manage vendor inquiries and maintain professional supplier relationships to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Maintain organized vendor files and supporting documentation per company policy.
  • Support accounts payable automation processes to ensure efficient and accurate invoice handling.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close activities and prepare account reconciliations.
  • Support general ledger activities, reporting, and ad-hoc accounting projects as assigned.

Who You Are / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field preferred.
  • 0–2 years of experience in accounting, accounts payable, finance, banking, or another business-related role.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Professional customer-service mindset, integrity, and accountability.
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new responsibilities.

Schedule & Location

  • Standard in-office hours: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday.
  • Location: Corporate office — Exton, PA.
  • Hybrid work options available after successful completion of 90 days of employment.
